The Buninyong Swimming Pool

The Buni Pool is open for the summer season
Open: 29 November 2025 - March 2026
Local residents can now visit the Buninyong pool as much as they like all summer for free!
To be eligible to receive free entry into the pool, you need to sign up for a free Season Pass. Registration forms for the Season Pass are available at the pool or you can sign up online via the BALC online portal, then collect your pass at the Buninyong pool before swimming.
Proof of ID and residency in the City of Ballarat will be required.
Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre members do not need to sign up as they already have complimentary access to all City of Ballarat managed outdoor pools.
The pool is open from Saturday 29 November 2025 and will open every day when the temperature is forecast to be 24 degrees or higher.

| School term: weekends and public holidays | 1 - 6pm |
| School holidays: Mon-Fri | 1 - 7pm |
| School holidays: weekends and public holidays | 1 - 6pm |
* Weather policy applies: if the forecast for the day is under 24°C the pool may be closed. In hot weather, it may stay open later.
The Buninyong Swimming Pool is managed by the City of Ballarat.
